Limbo>>>>>>> I raise my cup of tea to you this morning. You are wonderful, helpful, unselfish, etc, etc. and have helped so many. My prayers are with you for success after success in everything you touch. God bless. CAP God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |

RE: My Hearing Yesterday!!
Thanks Y2 and Cap.!! I thought this waiting would be Easy, but I think it's just as Bad as the Fight! I Hate having My Fate in Others Hands, I have ALWAYS Made My Own Way, and I Hate Setting here like a Helpless Fool waiting For My Fate to be Handed to Me By Others!! But I'll make it Some How, I have to for My Family. As Far as I'm Concerned, the Fight is not Over, this is just a Resting Spot waiting for the Judge to Decide before We Start Round Two!! As I said Before, I Will not Stop until the Drop of the Last Gavel to try and Get Even a Bit of what I call Normalcy and What's Truly and Legally Mine!! Not a Penny More, but SURELY Not a Dime Less!! Thanks Again!!

RE: My Hearing Yesterday!!
I hope the judge rules in your favor 100% Limbo! You have certainly given it your best shot.
question for you? I was given a MMI of 5% for my neck and back (bulging disks in my neck and thoracic). WC doctor says it is not related to my accident. Nerve damage L5 in left leg and am falling. Carpal tunnel in both hands. In the beginning, WC doctor said that the carpal tunnel was caused by the strong hold I had on the steering wheel during the accident. Underlying I believe she stated. Nothing bothered me until the accident, no neck or back problems, no problems with my hands and no falls. They are thinking some of this might be related to arthritis. Funny how it showed up the day of the accident. My atty says we will have a hearing in Jan to get my medical treatment paid for by WC or at least try for it. They say the WC doctor (pain management) will be in the deposition and will have to testify that none of my problems are related to the accident. She has given conflicting statements and I hope that things will turn around for me. I cannot believe that I could get screwed and be SOL just based on her. What are your thoughts? The atty says my weekly checks will continue for a while and they get every 4th check now. The insurance co wanted to settle for $50K and I am in NO SHAPE TO SETTLE YET. Thanks for any words of wisdom or advice. What should I expect in this hearing? Keep the faith that everything is going to turn out in your favor. I pray that things will get better for you. Thanks again! |

RE: My Hearing Yesterday!!
Thanks Again Everyone!! Babe, I Believe, I Testified 5 or 6 Times through this Whole thing! I was Once Beat Up over One Question for 15 Minutes, Until I asked the Judge if They could Stop the Question, no Matter How It's Asked the Answer is the Same!! The Judge Stopped the Question and told them to Move On!
![]() hurt Trucker, Your Attorney should be getting You Second Opinions and Ratings to Support Your Case, and to Present to the Judge!! If they don't want to go the Extra Mile for You, it May be Attorney Replacement Time!! I was Really Lucky with My Attorney, Every Test was Second O pinioned, and Depositions taken of the Defense Dr'.s as Compared to My Second Opinion Dr.'s! That's what should be being Done for You! I would Surely fight a 5% Rating with Spinal Issues and a Failing Leg! My Spinal Issue is Severe, Lower Region, and I Will Look at Nothing Under 6 Figures!! My Life is Shot, My Family Life as Well as My Work Life has changed Drastically, by No Fault of My Own!! As I said Many Times, I don't want a Penny More than I Deserve, but Not a Dime Less Either!! Your Attorney needs to get Aggressive, and Prepare a Counter to Their Claims!! Best of Luck!! ![]() cfree, Thank You Very Much, and Sweets, My Chair is Charged and READY!!! Bring it On MOMMA!!! (LOL)!!

RE: My Hearing Yesterday!!
Seems like we are in the same boat. Had my rateing done Dec. 7th and was told that they have 30 days to offer. I have had the longest month in my life waiting on what they gave me for a rateing. I am praying it is not so small that i need to hire a lawyer after comming this far on my own without one.
I pray we both hear something soon. I would of thought they would of wanted to pay it before the year ended for tax purpsoes. Not that we are taxed on WC, but because they must have to document how much they paid out yearly. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I guess we both went at a bad time during the holidays when people have more time off work. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |
