My Hearing Yesterday!!

[Still in Limbo]

FINALLY, after 12 Hearings, Two Years, and 14 Petitions, My first Round Before a W/C Judge is Complete!! I Had to Testify for the Fourth time, and have the Defense Counsel Brow Beat me for Twenty minutes trying to get Me to Slip up as I Truly Believe He doesn't Feel I am as Injured as I am, but ALL Depos. are Complete, All Testimony is in, and the Attorneys have until Mid-January to File their Briefs on the Case!!! After that, the Judge Rules, and I will Probably have a decision in Mid to Late April!! The Judge, along with my Attorney Stated that this is by Far the Largest first round they have ever Seen, and it was Mainly due to the Defense Counsel using EVERY Trick in the Books to Deny my care! My Dr. has Deemed Me totally disabled, and as Normal, the IME Dr. feels I can Work Part-Time, which I explained in My Testimony is Impossible, due to the Fact that I don't know from Day to Day how High My Pain Levels are going to be, and I could not in Good Conscience Commit to a Work Schedule that my Pain will not allow Me to Regularly Keep! My Attorney is Very Confident on All Aspects of the Case, and He Commended Me for Holding up Well in the Line of Fire of the Defense! Now it's just the Waiting Game for the Decision!! I Want to Take a Moment to Thank All of You that have Helped Me get through this, and for Your Excellent Advice and Moral Support!! It's great to Have a group of Folks Like You in My Corner while going through these Last Two Years!! I learned a Lot that has helped me in My case by being on this Board, and the friends I've made along the Way are Priceless to Me!! And 1171, even though You and I don't Seem to See Eye to Eye lately, Your Info. and Assistance was Greatly appreciated Also. Now let's just all Pray that the Judge is able to look at My Case with Clear and Just Eyes, and the decision is in My Favor!! Thanks Again Everyone!!!

Oh Still, what a relief this must be for you! I am glad this part is over, and hope you can be patient just a while longer...as it sounds as if it's winding down ! My prayers continue to go up for you, that all will go in your favor...and much more $$ than you expect!

Thanks Everyone!! I only Told the Truth since day One, and through Four Grueling Defense Council Cross Examinations, I held Firm to My answers! Now I'm not the Type to Say Grueling unless it was so, He tried soo hard to get me to change an answer Once, He asked me the SAME Question in different ways for Twenty minutes, trying to get me to Say What He wanted me to Say!! I turned to the Judge and asked them if they could Please Have Him Stop, My Answer will Never change, no Matter how he Asks the Question! The Judge Ordered Him to move on, so that just gives a Small Example of the Type of Defense I've had to Deal With for the Last Two Years!! I feel like a 500lb. Weight has been lifted from My Shoulders, knowing I don't have to do that Anymore, at Least for a While!! My Case is so Complex, I'm sure there will be Appeals from either One Side or Both down the road, there are 14 Petitions, and there is No Way Everyone is Going to be Happy with every decision. But Hey, I'll Cross that Bridge when I come to it, until then, I'm going to Enjoy this Time of Peace!! Thanks Again!!

Still in Limbo...First sorry you had to go through all that...but glad that stage of it is over for you. And you are feeling the weight has been lifted off your shoulders somewhat. I have never had any doubt that you could hold your ground. As we know as long as we stay with the truth they can't get us to change our stories....that is the same with me...so no matter how hard they keep coming at you or how try to change up the question...the truth is the truth. Boy how the other side hates it. I wish I could of been there to cheer you on. So I hope as things move forward for you they go as well. You sure deserve to have it all come to some closure...and with a great outcome for you and your family.
