RE: Need a prayer,maybe two!
You sure have my good thoughts. The second my Dr released me for a trial run my IC cut me off without any explanation and even with multiple formal periods of disability after that, hasn't paid a dime since Rolleyes Forget the fact that I had no job to return to and wasn't even given final restrictions until last month Rolleyes By the time the hearing rolls around it'll be over a year in back time loss they'll owe me.

My understanding is they are supposed to provide an explanation for termination of benefits and if you've been released with no job to return to they are supposed to assist in your job search. Obviously, state laws vary. I hope the holiday is the only thing that held up your check. Getting cut off without a word sucks pond scum!

RE: Need a prayer,maybe two!
I will pray for a check with wings to get to you quickly! I never received any payment but they have been dragging our paying for what medical I have got till my credit score stinks. But I am 3 wks passed surgery and growing stronger by the day. This too will pass and all will be normal again. (maybe)?

Always believe in yourself. No matter how much some people will make you doubt yourself.

RE: Need a prayer,maybe two!
I will be sending out a prayer for you. You may need to get yourself a lawyer. My TPD was stopped in July after they stopped paying for my meds, and I ended up getting a lawyer. I truly wish that I had him from early on when I first started having problems. He has filed alot of petitions and we finally had our first hearing, next one is to be in Feb.

I hope that they didn't cut you off. Hopefully someone will get back to you soon, if not, check out some lawyers.

Good luck
Vickie

RE: Need a prayer,maybe two!
I wish I had thought to say so myself but YES! If you don't already have one, please find a lawyer! I never thought I'd need one and now that I need one badly, I'm having a bear of a time finding one who'll take the case. I may not get much money out of it but at least I'll know I fought for my rights. Don't give up yours!

RE: Need a prayer,maybe two!
Beth, I too will say a prayer or two for you...Maybe you should call the supervisor instead of Adjuster....sounds like they're avoiding you at all cost.....keep on them....but I would go higher and ask Why you were sent this check last week? I'm sorry do you have an attorney? I can't remember or not...maybe you should if you don't let them take on the stress alittle...I know none of us quit stressing completely, but having someone with legal recourse can help....I hope it was just an oversight on their part ...and will send it to you quickly (like overnight) good luck friend and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too....

no where to hide

RE: Need a prayer,maybe two!
I appreciate everyone's good thoughts.Yes, I am sitting here stressing. And if I don't see a check coming on their website,I will be making a few more calls to the upper echelon. He won't like it.Last time I did that he screamed over the phone at me.It is also the only way he has ever called me back after I have left messages. Maybe the NCM will give me some news.Any news is better than none. Then I can start a game plan.I can't believe that a check for less than two hundred can make me or break me.And that is the saddest part of this situation, that we are fighting for our lives!
