Banking

I just went online to see if a check was issued yet to me and it first had said pending and now it says banking.Normally when one is sent it says issued.What does banking mean?

Call your bank and ask them about it.
Pending means that the transaction was deposited...but banking you need to call them...good luck.

My WC checks are sent by mail.They do not go into a bank account.That is the reason that word banking kind of threw me for a loop.

They now want everyone to have direct deposit for the W/C Checks so they can take the Money back if they mess up or for some other reason.
I had a bad experience with direct deposit once so I set up a separate account for the Checks to go to and then transfer it into My main Account this way they cant get into My Family Account and take the Money without My OK because the last time I had direct deposit there was a mistake and the People took their Money back almost two Months later and it caused a few Checks to bounce so I will never use direct deposit again unless it is a separate account like I have now. I only keep enough in the Account so the Bank dosnt charge a fee.

Beth...Do you have any girlfriends or children of friends that work in the bank to decipher what "Banking" means? If not, I suggest you call the bank too.
I have not yet been approached by WC wanting me to direct deposit my weekly check! If they do, they won't get my normal checking/savings account #
