Salonpas
Hey have any of you heard of Salonpas? They are little pads you stick on sore areas and they loosen your muscles and make you feel soooo much better. Anyway thought I would pass it on...they help my neck so much and they are soooo cheap. I pay like $3.50 for a box of 40. It beats $5 for 3 of those thermo ones, lol.

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Salonpas
I get mine at Walmart but they also sale them at Costco and Walgreens that I know of....I just love them! My oldest son is in multiple sports and I even use them on him when he is real sore.

RE: Salonpas
One of the pharmacy techs at Wal Mart introduced me to Salonpas. I have tried them and do get some pain relief if my pain in not a 10.
I have experimented with different brand of over the counter pain patches. What I have found that works for me is the Tiger Balm Pain Patches. The pain in my back and knees gets very intense and I need immediate relief, I can get that from the Tiger Balm Pain Patches. Only problem is they are expensive, five for $3.80. Tiger Balm comes in a salve, at a more affordable price. A friend of mine with extreme back problems says the Salonpas works best for her. |

RE: Salonpas
I was introduced to the salonpas patches way back in the 90's when I lived overseas.
But if you live in an area that has access to a chinese store that you can get some Poh som on (think that is how it is spelled - Pink box) oil and rub that into your sore muscles - and you don't mind the smell then that works even better. Also you can add a few drops into bath water when you sick and soak and talk about cleaning out your sinuses ...... lol But we are talking some chinese beliefs here. and I have had the ibu (elder lady) massage a combo of the tiger balm and the oil into my back - now where are they now when you need them. At the prices they are in the states you can't afford it. But I tell you it was well worth it - once a month. |
