Labor & Industry Suryey ????
I just received a survey from a Labor & Industry. It says PA wants to ensure that workers who are injured on the job have access to quality health care. You are to return it to an independant research associate. They say it is confidential and anonymous. I find this rather hard to believe since they have the date of your injury on the paper and they want you to fill in your job title and things that would make it rather obvious which injured worker is responding. I have no problem telling them what I think is unfair about their system, such as they can dictate who you must see when where and everything else, but I don't want them to treat me even worse than I have already been treated. I feel like writing on the bottom, try calling one of the lovely people that answer the WC 800 numbers. They treat you like you are dirt or the dumbest creature that has ever drawn a breath. It also asks about the WC DR's, I had a very nice Dr. taking care of me, she kept me out of work as she should have since my MRI hasn't changed in over 4 months. The problem was the Insurance Co. Dr. sitting behind some desk hundreds of miles away who I have never laid eyes on nor he me, harrassed her into sending me back. She said there were constant calls so she finally sent me back 2 days a week for 4 hrs on these days. I couldn't do the work and was in so much pain I couldn't stand it. Any ideas what I should do other than write them a very long letter telling them exactly what I think of the insurance Co. and the people who work for WC. Mac

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!

I wouldn't do a thing until I spoke to My Attorney!! I'm from Pa. also, and Labor Market Surveys are used to show that an Injured Worker in the Condition they are in can work, and they use that to Start the 500 Week Clock on th Injured Worker!! They Compile Your Info. and Hypothetically Show what Type of Work You can Perform, even if there are No Jobs Available in Your Area for You!! Be Very Careful how You Proceed, and Speak to Your Attorney!!!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!
