Getting kinda scared here
has anyone ever had there hands hurt and then all during the night I am waking up and a couple of my fingers will not straighten? It's like they are being pulled and i can't straighten them back up. This is also quite painful as it is waking me up. Scary thing is now last night another finger on my other hand has starting doing this. I worry one time they are not going to straighten out again. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem after cts surgery??

RE: Getting kinda scared here
Mostly it is being caused because of nerve damage that send messages to the hand. I get this all the time, because I have MS wtih nerve damage. With a neck or back injury there is some likelihood of damage to nerves. This is probably what is happening. Please tell your doctor about this. There are medications that can be given to release the hand. At lease they help me.

I like your attitude grundig. I play the piano and I guess I gave up. I find that I can't play anymore. It is very tough, my tones are not solid and often I will hit more than one key at a time. I have several fingers on both hands that are like this and maybe that is the difference. I wish you the best.

RE: Getting kinda scared here
Yes, I have C-8 Nerve Damge. Better known C-8 Nerve is a sensory nerve, and from the neck, on right side. That is what causes it. But as long as it releases, I'm OK, with it. In fact I just laugh it off, for little can be done about it.
