RE: Weekly check
yes!
I was trying to explain that the amount was probably correct -- it's the time period that probably changed.
only the poster would know what may have influenced that.

RE: Weekly check
Hi Bethsha,

He is still correct, just because they put 7 days only means the week they still may have only paid you for 4 days for some reason. Maybe that is an extra check and your regular one will be in tomorrow. I hope so. OR the computer may have thought there was a error and deducted the 4 days by mistake.

Good luck

RH

yes. no two states have the same work comp laws. Each state legislature makes different laws for the people of its state. two states never have the same state laws. Each state wants to have it's own laws for many, many, things. Each state also as it's own court system that only deals with the laws of its state. Attorneys have to be certified to practice in each state because the laws and rules are different. Just because it's legal in one state does not mean the same thing is legal in another. Each state has it's own lawmaking system that different then any other. Many many things are different in each state. each state has it's own insurance laws and rules.
Most states have their own websites where you can learn how each state runs it's government and courts and law makers. A lot of people think each state is exactly the same as every other one.
That is so not true.
texas is a lot different then new jersey.

RE: Weekly check
I don't know about your state but where I am they have to pay penalties for late checks. Even though the check was not late it was shorted x number of days so payment for those days could be. I had something similar happen where one of my checks was shorted and when I finally got hold of the IA she admitted it was their mistake and they added the penalty to check and sent it immediately.

My IA said if money was owed,he would send the difference. He knows he made a mistake. He looked at past checks online while I was talking to him.Of course,He didn't say anything about sending more for penalty charges.Hmm... now I have info to use! Thanks!!
