RE: prayers please
Jayne, You and your family are in prayers. This is just so sad. What drugs can do to a person and their family. I don't know how old your sister is....but just maybe this will give her the hope to want to live...and find a new way of life. That would be so good for her and your parents to see her find a new path in life. Will keep you all in thoughts and prayers....can all of us just stop at 9:00pm for this whole family ..they sure needs us and God guidance right now.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers, and also ask him to give you and your parents strength to deal with what he decides for your sister. Please take care of yourself as well.

Take care

RE: prayers please
Jayne, Prayers are coming your way for you, your sister and family.
as far as them stopping her blood, I can not tell you the reason unless she was having a reaction to the blood, High fever is a symptom. Here is a site, hope it helps.

http://www.Merck.com/mmhe/sec14/ch171/ch171e.html

Or because she, because of her illness was running a high temp, they decided to stop her transfusion.

RE: prayers please
jayne, my prayers are going up right now as I type. i am so sorry to hear of your sisters sitatuon. i am with Tufffy, I don't have a clue unless as Tuffy said she was having a reaction to the blood being given. I know that you are in a very difficult situation in terms of what you are saying about your parents and the suffering of you sister. My prayers is that God's will be done in the life of your sister and that if a healing touch is what is needed then let it happen. If a healing is not in your sisters best interest our father in heaven knows more about your sister and her needs than we ever will...he will give your parents the peace that they will need to walk a new path if that is your sisters destiny. I believe in the power of prayer and I believe that God is merciful and he can not only heal her of her illness but of her drug addiction. We never know ...only our our higher power does. My prayers and thoughts are with you.... Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

RE: prayers please
Jayne,

I am so terribly sorry to hear about your sister. I know you have seen plenty in her years of drug abuse. I have gone through that with my mother (prescription drugs) and alcohol. It is a very tough situation to be in. This is really sad as to how I worry about my mom. I always call her to say goodnight and I love her before going to bed. Well, the other night she did not answer the phone so I did not speak to her. That night I had horrible nightmares that she was drinking again and I had to confront her. In my dream I was like a wild woman that had lost her mind. I was so mad at her I woke myself up from hitting myself in the head with my fist. I finally got up out of the bed and went and sat outside.

You are not alone as we are all here for you. I pray that our Lord does his work in a manner that he see's is needed. May he wrap his loving arms around your entire family and carry all of you during this tiring moment. My prayers go up for all of you.

Please feel free to PM me anytime you need if only to vent frustrations because I know they will be present. My love to you and your family.

RE: prayers please
Thank each and every one of you...Mona is in the IC unit and I spoke to her nurse tonite...She is in bad shape not one big thing but lots of little things....they dont know where she is bleeding just that she is...she has pnumonia in both lower lobes(?)because she is a IV drug user they have problems getting a vein and are asking the Doc for a central line(?)to both give drugs and take blood.she is mal nourished and dehydraded and of course wants a cigarette and a pepsi....She is for now happy and being cooperative altho not eating and wanting narcs for pain they try and explain they cant give her to much pain killer because she has to work hard to breathe and narcs interfear with that....They have taken her off alot of the (keep quiet) drugs the mental hospital has her on...and Mom said her color is better....
I hope and pray she pulls thru and this scares the kaka out of her she walks off the mental hospital grounds often and trades sex for drugs.....hopefully this will scare her straight...we can only hope...
Her nurse sounds very caring and has agreed to call me not Mom if something happens.....I can only pray I dont have to tell mom again another daughter is gone....I had to tell her when My sister Demarris died And I dont want to ever tell her something like that again.......I do feel Mona is in good nursing hands and I know she is in Gods hands.Thank all of you for your prayers...Please let us not forget Crabbys mother in law and auntie and Bad Boys court hearing on the 16th....I dont know about you all but I sure could use some good news........

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: prayers please
Jayne you are such a wonderful person, here you have your heart full and your worried about my family, bless you, we will make it thru..my sister in law told me this afternoon that as soon as mom is ready to get out of hospital, they will take her to their home in New york for a least til February...and then they will let my Mother in law decide what she thinks will be best for her....and I know in my heart that will be best for her and maybe she will like the idea of having someone there all the time to care and pamper her....she could use it...but she is very determined woman and she likes her independence, just passed her drivers license for another year...(drives like the little old lady from pasadena) she scares even me!!!! I have to learn to not be selfish here, I will miss her terribly, but then I have someplace to visit right?...I haven't heard from my cousin yet today...I'm sure I'll talk to him over the weekend or on Monday at the hospital....thank you for thinking of me and my family again
