update from drs visit yesterday

ok well ..yesterday i had my follow up with the dr and since i dont go for mri until today she has me on same restrcitions as last week..Which means i out of work until oct 10th. I went for pt yesteday an evaluation....Some good news i guess is the pt said i have good blood flow and my hand isnt swollen and pretty good range of motion? With that he said i am kinda young for neck problems he isnt sure about arm yet...Wants to rule out neck....With that the dr was heartless and said i should deal with the pain and giong to the er isnt going to help anything of course they will give you something for pain there..Well hence i am in pain what doesnt she understand...Again have heard nothing about my check or when and if it is coming ..I called work and spoke to hr guy and let him know the same restrictions and i go back to dr on the 10th said ok no problem....Well i am just curious who will i hear from about my benefits and checks? If they were denying my claim wouldnt they deny me medical coverage also?

Sounds like it's time you seek a second medical opinion to your conditions. You may have to pay for it also.

well badboy i dont know if you have read my previous posts or not but i kinda already know what the problem is as i have already had mri done and emg and i do and did at that time 3 months ago have carpal tunnel i guess that its just getting worse and as far as the mri goes i never saw the report so i am not sure..

Yoou were never told what the mri said? What part of the body did they do the mri on?

on the cervical spine..same one i am having done now threw workmans comp...Ie i went threw my own insurance first until i ended up at an ortho 2 weeks ago and he told me that i need to be out of work to heal and to fill out a wc claim and its been a down spiral since then

I would find out what the first mri said. A bulging or herniated disc in your neck could explain all of the numbness and pain in your arm and hand. Call the dr who ordered the last mri and find out what it said.

well i could always go and pick up the report myself but my problem is wc doesnt know any of this as i stated in my prior posts i didnt fill out a injury form until 9/20 went for all these tests 2 months earlier

As others have said, go get an attorney! When you get one be absolutely honest with him. You will be able to explain what the HR guy told you to do and explain that you didn't know any better. A lot of people start out using their own insurance and realize after that it is work related. Best of luck!

i am trying to do that right now but every attny i call has said they are booked until next week..I need answers now ...I am suppose to start recieving my checks by oct11th
