RE: I spent the day in hell!
Yep Bagpuss, I am robbing them blind, just like you. Bunch of absolute morally bankrupt moneygrubbing losers! 1171 and Dallas excepted of course! I use licoderm patches for RSD pain, and today was told by wc doctor that he cannot accept it takes 2 patches cut up to cover my whole area. I have the RSD to mid-calf, and patches are 4x5 inches. What he really meant to say was....the patches are to expensive for you to be using them.

RE: I spent the day in hell!
Cap (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))

So sorry girl that you went through that - if I was closer I would have drove you there - at least if we got the wrong directions we would have had some finding the right hospital to begin with together. Big Grin Besides I wouldn't have left you alone like that.

Now as far as what happened - you better be talking to your attorney and I hope he fires off at the IC about that idiot driver and what happened. At least it seems that the IME doctor is on your side from what you said - so that will piss the IC off when they get their report I am sure.

I bet this was all a test to see how you would get to the right hospital and so forth - and wouldn't shock me if someone wasn't taping you. So it will be fun to watch you being wheeled to the other hospital by the orderly of the one hospital to the correct hospital - it will clearly show that you can't walk that far - which is probably what they were trying to show. Just an opinion.

Hope you find some relief for your pain today if you didn't go to the ER last night like the others suggested because there was no reason for you to stay in that much pain.

RE: I spent the day in hell!
cap,

Thank God you made it through that nightmare. I am sorry you had to go through all of that just to see the doctor for only 10 minutes. I basicly only saw my doctor for about 10 minutes also ,and with the stroke of his pen he has turned my whole world upside down. I pray you feel better before the morning comes and you hear some good news from your attorney.

RE: I spent the day in hell!
That is just DOWNRIGHT STUPID of that driver to do something like that. Was it his first day at work? How long has he lived in the area??

Such a shame that they would have a service like that take injured people in a dirty jeep driven by a 30 yr old kid!!!!! I would definitly be on the phone complaining about what kind of people they hire to drop off people with injuries and the mental/physical pain you went through on their part for hiring some unprofessional person like that!!!!!!!

Boy that gets me mad.....I really feel for you Cap and hope you get some pain meds today and relax....You have been put through HE**!!!

Definitly document that for your records on how your appointment went yesterday, and even request a copy of the doctors notes for that visit. It should state how you were when he first saw you at your appointment and being upset and crying because of the whole experience getting there. Just to have for your records of how you were in so much agony and upset about the whole stupidity of that visit!!!!

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

RE: I spent the day in hell!
Good morning family.......will be seeing someone for pain today, not sure who yet.

You know, I got the feeling thorugh this whole ugly ordeal that I was being set up, and you know the interesting thing is I was honest as always. I really couldn't walk andother step, get back in that Jeep again since it was too high. I was on the verge of tears in the lobby of the second wrong drop-off and the people were so nice to help me get where I was going. My attorney's nurse documented the wheel chair and tears. The Dr. wasn't like some of the creeps I have had IME's with. He was professional and straighforward. There were things (pains) i didn't get out becuae he didn't ask andI was told to offer nothing. He did tape it so can't really change my words. He looked at my MRI's with no reports and found each and every problem in my neck, back and ankle and documented. I watched him do it and there was my nurse and one of his putting the disks in and out. He really seemed to be shocked that I had no treatment on my knee or back. No injections andcostant PT on my neck and that my shoulder was worse since surgery.

Pooh... I have to tell you again that the Adjuster hates me. The frist IME was on my side. I don't have any idea what htis guy will do BUT if he's in my court at all it will really piss her off.LOL HAHAHAHAHAHA!
I also agree that this was a test. You're right, we would have had a laugh at least and I wouldn't have been left for want in a huge city of hospitals, not knowing what to do or where to go next. Yes, I will be speaking ( If that' s what you want to call it) LOL to my attorney today. I 'll bet it was a sight me being rolled along 3 city blocks in a wheel chair.:cool

Sparkey..can you imagine doing this to anyone let alone a disabled person. I think the kid might have been a PI. He never bothered to get directions, didn't really care what time we got there. Instead of it taking 20 minutes I was stuck inthe filthy Jeep for 1 hour and 15 minutes and then he tells me on the way home that he is supposed to go in with the person. OMG! Yes I think I was set up.

I am determined that when I am well to somehow become an advocate for the IW.

I quit smoking 7 weeks ago and am loosing it. There was a half naked woman on the street yesterday in front of oneof the wrong hopitals having a smoke. I thought about making her my best friendBig Grin

Will return after I talk to my attorney , I have a dr.s appt,( not work related) and try to find someone who will see me today for pain or it will be the OR.

Love you all,

RE: I spent the day in hell!
Maybe just maybe that driver was an angel from God.....would you have been in such a state if you had been taken in a clean comfortable car right to the door?Yes you are/were in pain and the doc seen it.....if your lawyer has half a brain he will have the name and addy of the nice angel who wheeled you 3 blks to give the judge....my lawyer told me he loves it when the IC really screw up big time with witnesses cuz it ticks the judge off and he will go with the IW everytime...makes notes of the injusticeses and they become a permanant part of your file.....thus after that everything the IC does and says is looked at with scrunteny(sp)...so pain aside(and thats bad enough)(go to er) maybe this is a good thing for your case in the long run

RE: I spent the day in hell!

Morning Lilly....keep POOFING away!! It helps.Wink

Jayne......All through the ordeal , feeling as if I was set up I was actually pretty calm except for the pain. My daughter from the beginning when she found out about the Jeep told me to be careful , it could be a PI, could be a set up. I'm glad she had sad something to me and Tim actually mentioned something to me also. I do think it was done intentionally to see what I would do and I have to say on a previous day I might have been so angry that I would have walked in pain the 3 blocks, but you see yesterday I had the Lord and a family of Gaurdian Angel IW with me guiding me. I agree that this man who pushed me the 3 blocks needs to be praised for his help and I WILL find a way to do just that. He was so calmind as he was pushing and talking to me. "Calm down, miss. Take a breathe. You're safe now and in good hands. I'll get you there safely" Ifelt very calm and amost out of body with him. Wonder why....................

RE: I spent the day in hell!
I'd bet good money that if you had walked the three blocks, they would have caught the whole thing on video. You're right, this does sound like a set up.
