RE: First Time WC and Needs Advice
Good Morning azmichelson. I thought about you all night last night and was hoping to see another post from you which would say to me that you are health wise ok. I am very concerned with the symptoms that you described. I will be watching for a post today. Please give us an update. My prayers are with you. Red

Hi ,
The way your boss is treating you...I'd seek legal advise so you don't have to put up with that crap! His/Her actions may be a sample of how it will continue to go. Get a cert. WC lawyer.....and don't bother with the ones that advertise on TV trying to drum up business.
I hope you start to feel better soon, but it sounds to me as if you have non dx'd problems still.
Take care, and be careful, and keep us posted on your progress.
Prayers going up for you now. LillySmile

Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!!

RE: First Time WC and Needs Advice
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Lorri Ann has had a couple of bad days. Last night she fell and was completely disoriented. She did not know where she was or who I was. She refused to go to the ER and she was so tearful and terrified I did not want to force her. Lorri Ann had very bad stomach ache and vomited a couple of times. I have made a list of her behaviors and symptoms:

Clumsy (has fallen several times)
Constant Severe Headache (8-9)
Dizziness
Nausea
Vomiting
Stomach Ache
Tiredness
Can’t Sleep
Ringing in her ears
Can’t stand loud noises
Nervous
Confused easily
Can’t concentrate
Vision Problems/Blurriness (may need new contacts?)
Forgetful
Different Person/Not the Same (lack of Humor/Sarcasm)
Stiff Neck with Pain
Tingling/Numbness in Arms and Hands
Loss of appetite
Grouchy
Impatient
Shaky
Diarrhea
Fearful that the symptoms aren’t lessening

We did find out the ER filed a report as well as me. Her supervisor filed a report. On her supervisor's report she stated it the accident report that Lorri Ann was at work early so WC shouldn't count. It should be noted her supervisor is the one who called 911.

No local Drs will see Lorri Ann here in northern AZ. She can only got to the ER or an Urgent Care. I am worried about her as she doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Thank all of you for your adivice, kind words, and prayers.

Larry (husband of Lorri Ann)

RE: First Time WC and Needs Advice
All I can say about the pysical condition Is I am sorry and try to talk her into going to the er. As far as what the employer stated, that makes no sense to me. In my oppinion wc is not an 8 to 5 coverage. Under the theory of the employer, what is the difference if an employee stays after 5 to finish up some work and gets injured??? AS long as the employee was doing her job she would be covered.

8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom.

RE: First Time WC and Needs Advice
She really needs to get into a doctor immediately. Head injuries are not something you want to fool around with.

As for the supervisor report it probably won't mean a whole lot in the end. You stated in your first post that she went in at the direction of the supervisor to finish reports. She was obviously working at the time.
