My accident was in 1999 and I was wondering am I under the OLD LAW? Do I not have to pay back the PERMANENT Disablity payments? They made one offer and it was crazy, I would be in the hole. My attorney hasn't gone over anything with me, what should I expect from him or how they determine?
Need to be enlightened of what to ask and expect. Thanks |

RE: Trial after 9 years-- next week
Your problem sounds like one that often occurs under california work comp laws.
If so which PD schedule will apply depends on when you first had a report that you had permanent disability. PD payments made to date will be deducted from whatever amount of PD is ultimately found or awarded. If you are from califoria this might help you understand which schedule will be used to determine your PD benefits http://www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/FAQ/DEU_FAQ.html |
