 6 month recheck
Hi all...
Went for my 6 month check up with my surgeon today! Had 8 x-rays taken of neck & lower back. Surgeon comes into the room with the x-rays and says, "Well you have moved 1mm since May...not good! You are now at 4mm!" The "S-word" was not mentioned! (surgery) but he wants me to come back in December for another recheck. He is looking for any nerve problems along my arms. He wants me to go for another facet injection to my lower back and maybe radiofrequecy. (no to the radiofrequency). Bad Boy in regards to that other matter about opening my mouth to work comp, the surgeon laughed! He said No problem. So I have been instructed to behave, wear my Miami J when in the car (yuck) otherwise wear the soft collar to bed at night. If I have any more nerve problems I am to call him asap! So that is my update!

Good to hear you have a good surgeon to help cover your butt. That's one thing good. Glad to hear that.

Thanks for responding Bad Boy. I think it was a good check up. The only probably is the slippage keeps changing to 4-5mm No MRI/CT scan scheduled...so will see what December brings besides Santa!

Does anyone know about how much a disk can move before the "S-word" is mentioned?
