Was this just a kid or an adult that hit you's, its a shame that it happened and hope it dont screw up your neck worse then what it is..... You's could be seeking damages of pain and suffering, if not now later down the road...... I picked up the thoracic spine MRI report this afternoon. It shows a couple of things: There is a focal lesion measuring 1.3x1.3 cm in the superior central to the right side of t11. This is uniformly hypostnse on all techniques. The possibility of an active done lesion is raised. there are old compression deformities in the mid thoracic spine. most severe at t-7-8. there are mild degenative changes. Resonance study of the t-11 thoracic spine is needed. a total body scan is advised. A CT of t11 is advised. ........... the t-7-8 is the area where the physical therapist felt the rotation. I am waitting for a return phone call from the neurosurgeon, I left a message with the nurse about the auto accident. What worrys me is the increase in pain in the neck area. Over the weekend every time I l bent foreward there was feeling of something shifting within the neck along with a stabbing pain going up the back of the head. That is a very stange feeling. |

RE: Here We Go Again!
I had the appointment with the primary today.
At first the doctor wass going to send me the cancer center for the lesion, I explained to him I had been down that road before, had the CT's, MRI's, Pet Scan, and biopsy. The lesion was found to be of benign nature located at T-12 in 2007. Well he doctor stopped what he was doing and called the radiologist, turns out he this is the same T-12 lesion and I will not have to go thru the expense and trauma of additional test. The doctor did write a script for pain meds and put me in physical therapy for the thoracic spine injury per the auto accident. I did hear from the neurosurgeon today, when I explained to the nurse about the auto accident and increase in pain levels a CT scan was orderd to be done at the spine hospital. The nurse said it takes a lot to shift the hardware in the neck but to be on the safe side in why the CT is being done. The other driver's auto insurance company did call and say the are responsible for medial bills. |

RE: Here We Go Again!
I received a packet of papers from my insurance company. The ask questions like, have you ever been injured? Are you working?
Do you receive Medicare or Medicade? Do you receive SSI or SSD? I asked my insurance agent about this and he told me to come in and he will help me complete the information. He told me not to answer the part about SSI or SSD/ My agent is also my neighbor about 3 house East of here. According to Kansas law, my auto insurance will pay for all of the medical bills and then collect from the other driver's insurance company. |
