Tuffy.... the painting is theuraputic for me. also i have a large room all set up for it. additionally...it takes very little time ...to paint and to clean up when you are already set up. Before I took it all to Oregon, I had a large studio. The studio alone was in a room that is 24X24..which is a good size room. then it had a room that is 12X8 next to it with my Kilm for ceramics was set up and a large laundry sink for brush clean up. In this area, I had a painting section, a scrapbook and stamping section, ceramic section, embroidery and quilting section and a floral section. Additionally I had another area that was sort of a closet in the room that was 10 X 8. In this room, Alexia and I painted a mural on the wall. I put together a sunset scene where the sun was half set onto a landscape of a park. To make the rays around the sun, I took each of the kids and had them put their hands full of paint around the sun. Me and all four of hte kids did it. Then in the park there was a path walking toward the sun. On the path my husband helped me put the kids feet on the path with paint on them. At the top of the mural is said, "together we can do anything." That was the mural for my kids craft area. Unfortunately, this was all covered over when the room got painted for the sale. The kids and I had so much fun in their small room. They each had small desk and each desk was colored. They each had baskets that we painted on...it was great...they loved it. I say "they" and really it was only Victoria and Alexia who could really enjoy it. Brianna and Sabrina were too small at the time, but not to put their feet and hands on it. I loved the mural. Red
