Herniated disc in 2008. Had surgery through comp finally. got better went back to work
Six months later reinjured same disc. spinal fusion got better went back to work.
injured back again 2011 July, new employer denied claim. fired me via mail. I'm in litigation with comp via my attorney. ten months I have laid at home in bed. After this injury I called my own health insurance and was told they wont pay for me to have back looked at untill after this comp process ends? Comp wont pay anything during this litagation, life sucks, pain everyday. Found out yesterday that all I needed for my own insurance to allow me to see a doctor was a denile letter from comp which I have had for ten months after they denied paying first workers clinic visit? wth, why has no one told me this? My attorney, comp, industrial commision, my own health insurance, no one told me I could get any treatment? WTH?

You are not the first that this has happened to. Your insurance should cover it, since it was denied by WC.

Now, if WC ends up covering the injury. Then you should let your insurance carrier know. That way they can recupe there monies.
