SETTLEMENT...
Okay guys im wondering if anyone on here has settled their case before and how much you got if you dont mind.... and what were your medical stipulations? Ive heard that in michigan for wage loss that they usaully do a 5-7 year settlement on your annual comp rate...does that vary with age? and what are the likely options i will have for medical...

also im wondering what you guys think i will have a problem with in the future regarding my injuries... fractured pelvis in three areas and they put a rod through my s/i joint...should i get the hardware out if i think its causing me pain?? plus i had a chest tube and surgury that seems to be cuasing lots of abdominal pain is this normal??? it usaully happens when i sit for long periods... and i had three broken vertabrea but they were non weight bearing (L1-L3).....

Getting the hardware removed may be an option, if a surgeon is willing to take the risk.. With my harware in the pelvis they will not remove any due to stability reasons and worries of infection... Then add extra scar tissue when they open you back up... As far as the chest tube it really shouldnt be causing abdomin pain unless they went in to low... I had 2 chest tubes when I punctured my left lung, which left some very uncomfortable scar tissue that pulls on my ribs..

RE: SETTLEMENT...
yeah i had it low in my left lung as well there was internal bleeding that they didnt see i guess?... but it lead to an infection and pneumonia in my lungs... and thats deffinately where i feel my pain is in the lower ribs....also did you have any heart problems occur after your surguries BRONCO??

and yeah my orthopedic surgeon is willing to remove his hardware he put in, so its up to me pretty much and i think is could possibly be causing pain because its fixating my s/i joint which is supposed to be a free moving joint, its only small movements but it could be causing me pain....??

I had internal bleeding as well, the first chestube was removed 3 days after first surgery.. 2 days later I was rushed into surgery again where they did the second chestube 2 ribs down from the first.. They missed it on the first surgery I was bleeding behind my bladder... ''

As far as heart problems, I flat ,ined 3 times before and twice durring surgery.. Ct scan shows scar tissue just below my heart and diaphram has abnormal clearence. No life threatning effects but now on higher dosage of bp meds..
