Return to work, different shift. Nebraska
My dr. released me to return to work with 5lb. weight restriction. I received a return to work call from Employer for temporary work assignment, but it is for work done on a different shift than I normally work. Do I have the right to refuse a shift change and not lose comp. pay for lost wages?

RE: Return to work, different shift. Nebraska
no.
the modified work does not have to be the same shift or even the same pay, same department, same location, same hours, etc.
it's modified not only for your restrictions but for what the employer needs done.
