You posed this question on another thread. I think it's best to start another thread on this subject so as not to take away from another post.

Suboxone allows for a more normal lifestyle. Patients claim they do better less abuse on both drugs. Subutex can cause severe mood swings. Doctors have report suicide attempts from patients taking this drug. Plus some patients becoming violent. Most doctors have little to no experience with this drug. Most doctors shy away from it because of those problems.

All you are doing is taking a half life drug instead of taking a drug like Buprenorphine. Which is more addictive and leads to more problems.
