question about bathroom tile
For those of you that have ceramic tile in your bathrooms. Would you be so nice as to look at where the wall tile comes down to the floor and tell me if there is a grout line there or if the wall tile is sitting on the floor tile.

I thought I would have some remodeling done before school started and that did not happen. I would have had it done by know, but we are living here, so everything has to be usable. Which takes alot longer.

Anyway, the wife thinks the wall tile should sit on top of the floor tile and I think there should be a grout line between the wall and floor tile.

Thank You

RE: question about bathroom tile
Hmmm. Not sure about my house, but here at the office we have two showers, and there appears to be a small grout line at the very base of both.

RE: question about bathroom tile
Unless you have a perfectly level floor - I mean perfect - it's better to have a grout line (bead) at the bottom of a tiled wall where it meets with a tiled floor. Otherwise you'll have noticeable dips, waves and caves for little bugs to park their cars in! Big Grin

RE: question about bathroom tile
AQA it depends on what kind of tile you are useing. Some styles have a small rounded piece to use at the floor border. that rounds down onto your actual floor. I would check with someone at lowes or home depot or where ever you got the tile from and see if ther is a piece made like that for your tile.
