slu award help
I am about to settle i believe on a new york state worker comp case. i revieved a 20% loss of use on my rt shoulder that injury happen in late september 2010 from my doctor the ime agreeded with that. i also had a case re-open up on my same right arm elbow with my doctor giving me a 15% losss of use and also the ime agreed with that. that injury occured in may 2008 im trying to figure out if i have a clear cut case dealing with my slu award and how to figure out the calculation of my award based on that chart . i understand the weeks but what im confused on is the money part of it i believe that i should calculate the maxium weekley amount because my weekley salary is 1500 gross. am i correct. plus i wasnt out at all maybe three days total for both cases. please help thank you. can i aslo keep my medical open after the award

I'm sorry I don't understand. What is partial loss of use. All I know is that I take 20% which equals 62 2/5 weeks x 733. Which is the maxium rate for a injury that happen after September 2010. Am I correct. Sorry to be a pain. My lawyer is not too helpful. And for my other injury is the amount of weeks for 15% x I believe 500 which is The max dollar rate for a injury in 2008. Am I correct.

I also remember them saying its a permanent schedule loss of use.

RE: slu award help
in your earlier post you did not indicate that you were using the rating %; you only posted "weeks".
formula: rating% times SLU scheduled weeks times weekly rate = total $$$due

if that's the earnings used, then yes; they can't change the legal requirement.
