Sad what do i do if i need to move toa different state
i have an occupation injury in both hands and have been on workers comp since feb. 2011.i had surgery on my left hand on aug.3,2011 it has not helped and nothing has been done for my right hand so far. my doctor released me to go back to work with the restrictions that i am not to use my left hand ,and have limited use of my right i am to work 4 hrs per day 4 days per week.i am a hairstylist/manager. i have returned to work and it is cause the pain to increase,i will see my doctor again in a few days.my question is can they make me go back to work if my pain is increasing?i also would like to know if i can move to another state because this has put a great strain on my marriage and need to move back with my family in phila. ,i now live in maryland Sad[/quote][/align][/size][/font]

they can't make you go back to work; it's your choice.
if the employer has work within the doctor's restrictions, they don't have to make disability payments.
yes you can move out of state but it could cause delays in treatment as you need to find a doctor that will accept maryland work comp payments.
if there is litigation, being out of state may make it difficult for court appearances.
