2nd Deposition
I have my 2nd deposition next week and I was wondering if it is normal to have two depositions? The first one was a few months ago. Will a settlement offer be made? Or is this just another stall tactic?

RE: 2nd Deposition
without knowing the details of your case it's difficult to guess.
generally depositions generate extra fees for the defense atty.
it's possible they have an area where they need more information on.
one that became relevant after the earlier one.

or just another opportunity for more $$.

RE: 2nd Deposition
Tough to know without more details.

1171 is right. It does generate additional fees for the defense attorney. If this is California, have to added anything to your claim since you filed it? A lot of times adding in psych, say, will result a second deposition to address those allegations.
