What to do
Hello I live in Florida and i hurt my back the first time in June. I told my supervisor but he never reported it. I did get to keep working even though was in pain. I again hurt my back in July and told him again. Now to make a long story short. In August i was laid off because the business was sold. I did call a lawyer and they told me to call the insurance to report the injury. I dont know what to do next. I have not signed any papers with the lawyer yet. I did get a call from the Nurse who is supposed to set up a Dr. appointment. I did go to the er and was told to see a pain management Dr. which i dont want to do since i dont see how they can fix me. I would appreciate any suggestions.

RE: What to do
the employer/carrier has to approve your doctors and treatment.
go to the doctor that the nurse assigns you to and follow the treatment recommendations.
