Thought we had 2 more weeks of camping free...I should know better by now than to think I am gonna get a free vacation anywhere.....
I am coming to you from the surgical waiting room of sparks waiting room where they have just removed the legs of my Mother the right below the knee and the left above the knee....
Red whats her outlook the nursing home isnt giving me a bright outlook for her....

In 2005, My wife,sister in law, Brother and I took off to Virginia Beach a 24 hour drive. My Mother had a stroke and seizure; We were back on the road headed home immediately. My mother died 2 months later.

I will be lifting prayer up for your Mother and you. I missed my Mother terribly at my daughters wedding last Sunday. Love her why you have her.

My Mother made it out of the surgery just fine....when she came to all she asked for was her teeth,her drivers licence,her boyfriend and where was her son in that order....I guess I am chopped liver.....I will get her her teeth she has no need for her drivers licence or a boyfriend and her son Lord knows where her boy is.....I gave them all my phone numbers and I am back out to the lake....I will call every day and go in twice a week....she doesnt want me around and I wont force it....maybe they can find that precious son of hers in a crack house some where....

In my prayers Jayne, dealing with an adult parent is never easy. God has a reason, God gives me the strength daily to deal with my father. Big meeting tomorrow just over his care, not looking forward to it with my stepmother being allowed to attend. Perhaps I'll just take some duck tape with me for her mouth.

I am in her room..her legs are gone and she sleeps.....when she wakes she says over and over I love you,I love you....dare I believe it or has she relized I am all she has left?My brother is a no show after all there is no money to be made just spent....her brothers and sisters have all came to support me but like me they have all felt her wrath....death has a way of bringing families together or spliting them into tiny little pieces...I am numb and will stay that way for awhile it is a present from the Indian blood the abilty to shut off all feelings for awhile.....Bill will pick up the pieces when it hits Thank God for my Bill
