401k hardship
I finally decided I had to do something to get this stress off of me. Between my husband not working and my son wrecking his car, I was at my limit.

They only offer a few hardship options. Only one I could work with.....medical bills. So I gathered some that have accumulated over the last few yrs of him not working and turning them in. I feel bad because the money won't be going towards them but I have no choice at this point. Had I not kept house paid I could of used eviction for the money. Since I made sure we kept a roof over our heads I feel forced to do what I have to do. Need a car and need to pay for a lawyer. I still feel bad for misleading to get my money.

My son works midnights so husband takes him and picks him up. I get up at 4am and will pick him up before work if he's off early but in bed when he goes in. My main concern has always been my husband driving on his meds and do all I can to prevent it. I know it its a controversial subject but I don't like it at all. On top of his pain meds he was prescribed xanax last week by his dr treating his depression. I need the car for my sanity. Lol

RE: 401k hardship
you do what you have to do to get by...none of us will fault you for that...every one of us have been there and some of us are still there...xanax is very addidive so be careful...it was given to me a year after my injury and I am still on it cant seem to kick it...those of us that are used to working just cant get used to not working it drives us mad....find him a hobby or something to take his mind of things with winter coming his aches and pains will get worse....does he go to the game site http://www.pogo.com its free and many of us go there at night when pain is keeping us awake...

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: 401k hardship
I can relate to it as well, finding somthing to occupy ones time is the best medicine. I was on xanax and never ever will I let them give it to me. It is listed in my medical charts as a allergy, I became hostile, aggitated and was outright loopy..

As far as sanity, we do what we can to keep it.... I wish you's well....
