ok broke my shoulder and a torn labrum in ohio. I have finished all the therapy and went to work rehab..got a new job and just went to the Dr. to get an impairment rating. It came back yesterday at 9% whole body. Ok my questions are: will they count both claims as one? I have a weekly wage of 300 dollars..can anyone tell me the amount to expect? I have read this forum for quite awhile and knew where to come for the answers. Thanks so much everyone! It is almost over!!

what kind of variables? I have a lawyer, just thought someone in here might know the answers.

Ohio has multiple options.
you can be paid for your wage loss or your scheduled loss of use or permanent partial impairment.
the weekly rate has minimums and maximums that vary based on your injury date.
as well as variable time limits and waiting periods.
for permanent partial generally its 2 times your % establishes the duration of the payments which are paid at your TTD rate.
the payouts are customized to each case individually.

I have been thru every type of payment I think that is available up to this point. I got TT and then i went thru vocational rehab and was paid for it...job training and I just got added 2 more weeks of job training. It might be a difference with my claim because my employer had no coverage....I don't know. Welll could you tell me anything about my 2 different claims...the shoulder and the labrum? Will they do that as one claim? Thanks 1171 for your help..truly appreciate it.

again it depends.
is it 2 body parts from the same injury for the same employer?
if yes then they will be used together.

yes, when i fell it broke my shoulder and tore the labrum. I was just wondering about that because they have it down as two different numbers. Well thank you for all your help.

they make comp way more difficult then needed; it keeps lawyers employed and workers not.

I am in Ohio and I have 2 different claims, each have their on claim numbers. when i have been pd for my impairments each has been pd seperately and not added together.
