Does your pooch follow you into the bathroom all the time?!?
Mine does! As some of you may know, her name is Roxy. If I close the door to keep her out, she moans and scratches the bathroom door all up. So, shoot...I give and let her in.
Well, yesterday I got one of those bright ideas...one that might solve this problem.....you know, the kind that NO one thinks of but me?!? Sooo...I went to Taco Bell and ordered 3 of those Big Beef Burrito Supremes and a Meximelt...loaded them down with sourcream and their HOT Border Sauce. I came home and and chased em down with 2 cups of cowboy coffee. Needless to say, it wasn't long before I had "to go"! With camera in hand (I just had to get this on film) off to the bathroom I went. Oh, man...just as soon as I sat down, there was Roxy...and no sooner had she sat there...KABOOM! Check her out!.... ...Gosh, I oughta send this pic it to National Geographic! And do you think it worked to teach her a lesson? Nope! She jumped up between my legs.....I dropped the camera, and had to pull my jeans up over my knees really fast! Oh well...back to the drawing board. And aggravation or not, I reckon that at least it's nice to be loved that much, don't ya think...even if I am a stinker!

RE: Does your pooch follow you into the bathroom all the time?!?
you are more than a stinker bubba......my coco follows me everywhere he is so tiny less than 2 lbs he is an 8 yr old chihuahua male that thinks hes a doberman or some such as he bites anyone who comes near us ......he sleeps in my arms and goes everywhere with me........I also raise st bernards and my momma dog came into heat theres coco thinking hi hopes and doing his darnest to hump her leg trying to breed her....funny as heck watching that but you try to pick him up to move him and he snaps growls and bites.......talking about a lost cause that dog is nuts...but he has the male Saint running scared and we have to throw a towel over coco to get him away so maxamillion can breed with his lady...this farm is full of wackos
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Does your pooch follow you into the bathroom all the time?!?
Let's see I have 4 cats that follow me to the bathroom - so far the puppy stays in his place outside the bathroom - cats still rule on some things around the house .......
Of course Angel still have claws and can quickly put him in his place and patches has already put him in his place and ET isn't afraid of him ......... now just binky left to go who is the mild one of the bunch. He just hisses and runs from puppy right now - but he will take so much then he will attack - then puppy will be in his place there as well. Poor Bugsy. |

RE: Does your pooch follow you into the bathroom all the time?!?
Wink....you are sooooo funny! BUT....you didn't post the next sequence picture....the dog, all melted, a puddle laying at your feet! Reduced to mere liquid from the aftermath of the explosion!!!! (Kinda like the movie "the Day after")
That's a cute pooch sir!.... the humane society may be giving you a visit to check on his well being though. It wasn't ME that turned you in !!!!!! Yes, our dog follows me into the bathroom every time. In fact, I normally have to hold him (at least his front half). He's a 110 pounder, and insists on being being petted while you do your duty...and he also insists on mommy singing his favorite song to him at the same time! It goes like this...."I lovem youuuu, Yes I dooooo, I lovem youuuu, Yes I doooooo! While singing & holding him, one must rub his ears....and no matter how sweet with fragrance or air quality is....he has an expression of pure bliss on his face every time! I won't disclose his breed in case my voc rehab gal reads this....as she'll know right away my identity! Dogs are but beloved extentions to a family. A family is not complete....nor is it a home, without a dog IMO. Lilly
Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!! A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless! |

RE: Does your pooch follow you into the bathroom all the time?!?
Right now I have seven dogs that follow me EVERYWHERE! They all go to the bathroom with me. My Lil' Bit (we call her Fred, she's a rat terrier papillon mix) thinks she has to set on my lap when I potty. Cooter (long haired chihuahua) gets in the shower with me very day. I usually have at least three dogs in my lap. I am so ready to sell the rest of the 14 puppies!

RE: Does your pooch follow you into the bathroom all the time?!?
Winky...What do or how do I reply to that........LAUGHING so hard. Just as I was opening the post my son was here and he was like what are you looking at Mom...so I was telling him about how I talk to others that have been injuried...so he was laughing at the picture of the dog...and then I was reading the story...and just couldn't keep myself from laughing out loud...so he started reading.....then he was like...Mom want kind of friends do you hang out with....but then he finished reading the whole post....and he was laughing so hard. So I just had to tell him how you keep all of us here just on the edge of our sits laughing. You know raising two sons...and trying to teach them that everything that came out of their rearends wasn't to be shared with the whole world...and it just wasn't the funniest thing they every did....but of course they embrasass me a few times. In fact one time my nephew used the toilet at Sears when I was shopping with my sister. I just keep on walking like I don't know them. Back to the dogs...sorry got off track....lol Baxter follows us every where yes to the bathroom but now that he has gotten HUGE he just has to wait by the door. Poor guy.
