Quiting after returning to work?
I tore a couple of ligaments in my ankle a month ago and am now returning to work. But it just so happens to fall near a time I need to quit. The semester starts back up in august and i have to focus on school. (i work in retail) i'm going to turn in my two weeks, and make sure my last doctors visit is in that two weeks. My question is, when I do quit, will I have to pay all the medical bills?

RE: Quiting after returning to work?
workers comp is not health insurance.
it is the employer who is covered not you. the employer will continue to have coverage against your claim for as long as you need treatment for your injury whether you continue to work or not. |
