can I sue my employer after 3 years.
hello everyone thanks for your help, Iam in CALIFORNIA.
going to trial for back in jury at work in august this year, I had a laminectomy in 2009 wich left me in more pain. Iam now on medications 24/7 for pain. my question is this, my injury happened in 2008 its been 3 years and I need to know if there is a way I can sue my employer,carrier is not offering enough and I know I will need medical care for life. doctor diagnosis is : FAILED LAMINECTOMY SYNDROME |

if your work carried workers comp then no you cant sue.....it is a no fault system...they are covered you are screwed
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

as long as they are paying what the law requires it's irrelevant whether you think it is enough and it's not grounds for a civil suit.
