I am happy; I did have a great Union Career and the wife and I do have a 7 digit 401k.

I had issues with one particular person and I feel they added plenty to fuel the fire.

Fair enough. Now, back to topic. Facebook has some major security loopholes, the most notable is via friends who do not know how to set their account properly. That can open up all of your info to prying eyes.

It is correct that an insurer or investigator cannot fake their identity to gain access, but there are many legitimate channels with which they could.

I agree with Freebird that as long as you are legit and you use common sense, your risk is minimal. But Facebook has some distinct flaws. I don't use it myself.

A lady who used to work for us who now works for the US Justice Department has told everyone, "don't ever, ever, set up a Facebook account".

I believe anyone can break into FB with a little "know how" so if you are worried about that happening, either stay off FB or never post anything you don't want the world to see. I agree that it is a good tool to stay in touch with famiily and friends.

Here's a recent published "FB Bible" As you can see, Security features are constantly changing. However, this guide gives you some real good tips on being as secure as you possibly can.

Even if you are "secure" and your "friends" are not, they are a backdoor to your personal information. Believe me, I've tried and it works. Not a spy here!!!! LOL!

I believe Facebook is A great tool available for social networking. I feel it is easy to become paranoid that someone is always watching your actions as a IW on WC. After 8 years of WC and going strong, I have seen a lot and I am still watching my back. You have to take care of self!

I do not allow this to happen because it develops Fear of the unknown and will wreck one's mind mentally.

I have all my privacy set to the highest level on Facebook. I am sure it could be hacked; If someone can hack your bank account, they can hack your Facebook account.

The difference is I have nothing to hide and nothing on Facebook that would "take me down" but I do like screening who can look at my page. I do not want to be a door mat.

I am a IW and I have major real Restrictions like most do on this Forum. Do not allow "possible thoughts" or "ifs" or "maybes" control your life.

Thanks for all the advice .I don't have anything to hide .I am careful as to what I post .I mostly play games on there.Just wonder how far the IC go to mentally invade your life, Thanks all.Doing good 2 weeks and 2 day into the spinal cord stimulator and it's doing a good job so far,,6 more week of recovery to go Whaoo Bored !!! LOL.
