Wink It's OVER!!!
And I am okay with it. We came to an agreement today at the mediations hearing. The lawyers went back and forth for an hour and half with the judge telling them what each side had positive and negative for case. The case leaned more towards my side then theirs.
I am done. I have a hearing next Tuesday to sign the papers for a complete C&R for lower lumbar sprain. Lawyer stated it takes up to 30 days to receive check. But as of Tuesday next week I will no longer be under WC.
Since my case was not worth much on wage loss issues we settled for the medical aspect of accepted injury. I think I came out pretty good and should have plenty to cover medical costs for couple years at least.

One thing my lawyer did state though was that the judge still had to decide on the Petition to Terminate.....Why? Wouldn't this be dropped due to the settlement agreement?

31 year old mother of 3. Working as Pre-K Teacher. Tripped over leg of therapy swing, twisted and jammed lower back.
Diagnosed w/ SI Joint Dysfunction. Moderate to severe pain daily. Limiting most functions.

RE: It's OVER!!!
By allowing the termination to go forward to decision, the defendant maintains the potential of being successful. If they are successful, they can then seek reimbursement from the supersedes fund for the money they have paid out since filing the termination. It doesn't affect you, but it is an extra incentive for the IC.
