Pa federal employee workmans comp
I work at a Army depot as a civilian employee , I just read here that back injuries cant get me a settlement is that true? I have a appt with an attorney that handles federal cases but would like to know more before I go , my situation is a bit strange ,I had back surgery march 31st 2010 (1st one) I did not file a comp case no specific incident I was released back to full duty at work by surgeon ,Feb 24th I was lifting objects weighing 46lbs 12 of them and had an mri the next day which showed the same 2 disks were reherniated and had 2nd surgery with a different surgeon within a week right now my claim has been denied because the surgeons part of the paperwork was not sent in on time the surgeon refuses to send me the paperwork so I can be sure it gets to WC for me to appeal the surgeon says it was sent in but I have no idea if WC received it or what it says . and now I am back to work full duty only restriction is no lifting 15lbs or more for 1 mnth not sure if I should fight this battle or just try to get the appeal through , I really feel I shouldnt be doing full duty work considering it was the same job I had before surgery alot of ladders bending stretching etc thanks for taking the time to read as I vent

RE: Pa federal employee workmans comp
there are permanent disability benefits for those that have permanent impairment.
sometimes workers refer to those payments as a "settlement".
to change your disability status you need the supporting opinion of a physician.
your atty can subpoena any records you might need for your claim.
you can find out more on the owcp website
