Supreme Court Decision
My attorney tells me of a recent ruling by the Supreme Court that will impact the outcome of my wc case.
The Supreme court has ruled that when injuries of both knees are involved, no longer can a whole body rating be given. Anyone have any information on this? |

RE: Supreme Court Decision
I imagine you are refering to a state supreme court but since you didn't give us your state nor put it in your profile we are in the dark. Each state has their own work comp system and legal process. There is no one answer for every state; that's what makes each case so very different. knowing your location will allow the answers to be more precise.
I can give you a starting point link but without knowing your state you'll just have to begin searching from there. http://www.ncsconline.org/D_KIS/info_cou...sites.html If by chance this case is one of the rarest of the rare and has actually gone to the US supreme court you can start searching here http://www.supremecourtus.gov/ |

RE: Supreme Court Decision
Thanks for the response. I am from Kansas.
I have been doing a search for information width no luck. This decision may effect others on this board, if will me, I received my impairment rating today, with recommendations made to the judge. My attorney is trying to slow things down; my back problems have not yet been addressed. |
