Next Step....
Well the doc made my injury a lifetime one...I am in WA state. Now I guess I wait for L and I to assign me a Vocational counselor. Has anyone here delt with one of these before? Id just like to know what to expect! My company is going to assign me a accomodation specialist to see if they can use me anywhere else in the company. as it stands now i go to work in a lot of pain and get a lot of additude from my fellow employees for being on light duty. i have heard this whole process can take up to 6 months or longer!!! uuuughhhhh. I am going to look into finding a wc lawyer or disability lawyer. Are they they same? Which one is better? Does anyone know of a good lawyer in the Seattle area? also if anyone else has a cervical injury id love to hear your story as well! sucks to feel alone in all this!!! thanks for reading!!!

RE: Next Step....
You need an attorney who practices disability law and is a work comp attorney.

Did you look at the link I provided for you on locating an attorney?

On that same page was a link for contacting an attorney.

yes there is .....pity isnt it

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: Next Step....
well that is good to know! I have been injured for a year now and just found this place like a week ago! already i am feeling better knowing there are others out there and getting some great advice! Smile i think the hardest part for me is going to work and getting additude from my coworkers for "still" being on light duty and when i go it triggers my migraines...but then they get pissed when i miss work too. so it just feels like i am damned it i do and damned it i dont. i cant imagine what all you guys have been thru that have been going thru this for years!!! uuuughhhh that must really suck!! anyway thanks for all the great advice and the shoulders to lean on!!
