RE: Injured Worker Forum
ratings are complex calculations especially when they involve multiple body parts.
if you are a civilian employee you may call the Office of Workers’ Compensation at (202) 671-1000 or fax (202) 671-1929 for information on your claim. |

RE: Injured Worker Forum
HMDR, we have similar injuries, my hip socket was shattered but the head was fine. They used only 1 plate with screws, my pelvis had 7 fractures and the sacral was fractured off. they used 1 screw for sacral (si joint fussion), and 30 some screws and plates through the pelvis and pubic area.. My left leg is 1/2 inch shorter then right and have custom orthodics to accomidate the difference.. They gave me a raiting for 15% for hip then aditional % for muscle loss and nerve damage which totaled 25%... I didnt get nothing for shortness of leg for it had to be 3/4 or more... It sounds close to the same for the hip, but that doesnt matter much for even the same injury because its really what your dr rates you and ins agrees to.....
