California signed settlement papers a week ago, has anyone heard of receiving the check before 30 days?

they can't pay until they get the judge's written approval.

i just had mine 3 days ago and here in ny both sides have 10 days to appeal and then up to 15 days for the comp board to sign off on their decision, i was told i would have my check within 25 days. the judge at my hearing approved my settlement right at the hearing so my lawyer said within 3 weeks i would have it. i know after the 10 days to appeal the ins comp has 10 days to send the check or they face a penalty. good luck and be hang in there its coming
