Good News
Today my lawyer called and said the opposing lawyer and IC has decided to settle for 80k and a waiver of subrogation which is great news considering I have a mediation in 2 weeks for the lawsuit I have against a third party for my injury. The waiver of subro means more to me than the amount of money cause that opens the door for a lot more money from the personal injury claim. Not to sound greedy but when your run over by a concrete truck driver that was impaired(failed drug test following accident) then some one should pay for this to teach them to monitor there employees better and maint. the trucks more often to. But good luck to everyone out there that has gone through work injuries also, just be patient and it will pay off. And I strongly advise yall get a lawyer, I never could have done this on my own.
