medical record review
I finnaly got my copy, of the review that the wc dr made... Its way to long to post, I would be typing for at least 4 hrs and not happening... But for yous that have been following my post should understand what Im going through... Thier dr aggreed with the dr that did my impairment rating, which was done on the hip and pelvis fractures. And agreed on restrictions given for the hip and pelvis. Gave me a 25% rating for the hip and left leg muscle loss.... No where in this report does it mention the pelvis, nor the rail rd tracks in the pubic area.....!!!!! Is thier a rating awarded for the pelvis..............?
It does list all medical procedures done for the back, which he agreed was necesary. And under the mmi, for the hip and pelvis reconstruction thier is no future medical treatments needed other then a total hip replacement in the future. And says I can go back to work with light to medium work that would involve 10 lb of frequent lifting and 20 lb maximum lifting with avoiding squating and not bending 90% at the hips. No climbing ladders, and stairs on a seldom basis, and provide changes of position from sit to stand to walk. These restrictions, in my oppinion , would be permanent and atrributable to the injury of Nov 6, 2007. And the ins asked.... Has the patient reached mmi for his back problems? If so, when was he at mmi for each injury? Response: He was at mmi for his hip and pelvis fractures by nov 19,2010, and mmi for his low back problems by nov 19, 2010. This is amussing and stresfull at the same time.. That was the day I was declared mmi for the hip and pelvis and was reffered to a ot specialist for the ppd rating.. He was directed just to include hip and pelvis injury, and that was the only report given... In his report he states for the major treatment should be gabapentin, home excercise program, and oxycodone 2 to 3 times per day only if he returns to gainful functional work and is showing functional improvement. I find this so de-meaning, I dont need my meds unless I return to work, when work says no narcotics allowed.. And wc has already stopped all payments and meds, when he states I will need them...... |

RE: medical record review
you can review wisconsin's guidelines for disability ratings here
http://dwd.wisconsin.gov/dwd/publication...7761-P.htm ratings are complex and make some allowances for the doctor's opinion. disfigurement, scarring, and blemishes are limited and rated separately. |
