Received letter from CMS receiving MSA
After 7 1/2 years, CMS sends me a letter stating they have received the recent submission of a proposed WCMSA for the above-referenced claimant...... ME
![]() Now we shall see if the proposed WCMSA is approved by CMS. Personally, I feel if they approve it without changes, It tells me the COB who is looking at my current proposed MSA is not screening the proposal. I t has so many deficiencies in it till the proposal is a freaking joke. I am ready to settle bigtime. I tried really hard the last 2 years to get a proper WCMSA proposal prepared but I failed; It is now in the hands of the COB. I will be fine no matter what; I just feel Medicare's interest should be properly covered. The companies hired by IC's to build a WCMSA intentionally low ball the proposal to see if it will "slide" by CMS Jr. Member? Only 2 post? What is going on?????? |

RE: Received letter from CMS receiving MSA
Freebird the same happened with me.
I settled my claim last month with a proposed MSA. It also was a low ball figure, my attorney told me CMS will not approve the setaside. The amount proposed for future medical is a total of $4,000.00 My settlement was written in the event CMS rejects the setaside I will have open medical. The low ball is a game the insurance company's play. |
