Treating Neurosurgeon (TN)
My husband had a cervical spine injury, that required surgery within 10 days of the accident. He is currently doing physical therapy and upon completion will be have an FCE (Functional Capacity Evaluation). We asked the doctor his impairment rating and he said, "he doesn't do MIR for WC". Their practice usually do not take WC cases, but they did in our case because another doctor from their practice had operated on him back in 2006.

So my question is, if his "treating" physician will not do his MIR who will we have go to for one?

Sammi (TN)

RE: Treating Neurosurgeon (TN)
there is no one specific doctor.
the doctor can be chosen by your husband or the employer or both.
