case law?
does anyone know of any VA case law involving a worker who was injured while attending a conference? More specifically, the worker received the injury in his hotel room during his stay at the conference? Please help!!

try searching on key words such has "travel" or "bunkhouse". the key idea is that you were performing duties in the service of your employer at the time of the injury not where it was performed. there may not be many cases as such a situation has been resolved in favor of the employee many many times. it also depends a lot on what you were doing at the time of the injury. even though the travel itself may be considered on-the-job, the particular activity that caused the injury may not be. |
