Hi from Co.,

I was just wondering about something. I was placed at MMI in (I think) April of 2010 and my checks stopped. 11/2010 DIME said that I wasn't at MMI and my question is this. The insurance company agreed to start paying my checks again. But will I receive a back payment totalling from the time I was placed at MMI until now?

I live in California so I don't know anything about your State.
I'm in a similar situation. I won't bore you with mine. It's complex to say the least.
Anyways I was made MMI in Sept. 2010. I had to go on state disability (SDI).
If I were to get my DVT added to my industrial claim I would get the difference between IDL payments and SDI. My SDI account would get paid back by workers comp.

the start date of temporary disability depends on what the DIME says-it could be retroactive or it could just be from their exam.
