What happens if they decide not to settle, they just keep paying my weekly checks and cover anything that may go wrong with my leg for the next 6 or 7 years?

what benefits are available depends on your state rules.
yup, that's how your atty came up with the $150K "exposure"; that's the carrier's long term potential cost. |

right.
exposure can't estimate unknowns. unfortunately those estimates that include surgery don't factor in the high failure rate. |
