Clarification from doctor (AME)depo
Good afternoon everyone..
I received email from Attorney's office and my Attorney wants to depo the (AME) for clarification.
My question is that like a trial? And would I have to be there? I got the impression that this could take a while before this takes place. Everyone has to put it on the calendar so to speak.
Any input would be helpful. Thanks

It will include your both sides lawyers your doc and all will be taken down with somebody like a court reporter. You shouldn't have to be there and yes they take time to set up. When the did mine the IME doc he didn't have time for like 4 months

a deposition is a sworn statement given under oath and with cross examination. it's summitted as evidence in lieu of a personal appearance at a hearing.
standard step in attempting to refute an ame report.
