Misdiagnosis?
State of Calfornia
I had a slip and fall at[/b][/u] work in May 2008. Very hard fall to my right side. I had xrays done at the time. Over time I was still in pain but keep working. I finally had a MRI done same year . Basially came back normal. Had a nerve study. Abnormal and weakness on right leg. Made p&S on si joint in May 2010. Could not return to usual and customary duties. No prolong standing, sitting, and a few other things. Doctor wanted to move injection(from si joint) because I was getting little relieve. Denied injection. New xray said narrowing of disc. Today new Doctor looked at the first MRI and said a tear in a disc. I have been treated all this time for si joint and I had a tear. Everyone went off Radiologist report. I don't know if this changes anything in my W.C. case. The problem is L-4 OR L-5. Does anyone knows if this happens often? Now I'm wondering if I should get a second opinion on last DVT scan if it was really clear of clots? Done at same place. |

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

Since Jan. 2010 when I had my DVT scan done in the emergency room because my right leg was swollen and throbbing with non weight bearing. The day before I worked 16 hours. I have been questioning the results. I took a disc to the oncologist and he said he would take a look at it. Well next visit he said something like it had a password on it and he couldn't open it. He seem to be not interested in it. So I let it go but, now I will try and get it re-read by someone. I read a few of your other posting and sorry to hear that you are going through so much right now. Good luck and I hope everyone makes a speedy recovery. Thank you for taking the time to answer my postings. |

I probably was looking at a old posting. I'm new on here and learning as I go along. Actually if my Attorney's office would call me I probably wouldn't have found this site. That probably says alot about my attorney right there. I can relate to the cooking. My husband had a Birthday party. Small family get together and I paid during and after too. I normally enjoy it, love to cook but, that was very painful. From now on I will plan and do alittle each day ahead. We use to have all the family over for Thanksgiving and I would do all the cooking and love the planning of it all. Now it's what family member house are we going to this year? lol Maybe I will actually get treatment now and feel better. I have about 5 to 6 days to wait and see if I will get approve for new MRI and then scheduling. Last time comp had me drive 90 miles for a seven view lumbar xray. (90 miles one way). Oh course 5 to 6 business days. |
