Exclamation PD/LP payments
Hello and thanks, I am in the State of California

I would like to know when receiving PD/LP payments how long does this go on, and if by chance I am able to work do i still get the payments or lump sum.

At this point they still have no idea what is wrong with me i have had two surgeries they want to do another I do not want another surgery.

I would appreciate any help you have to offer once again thanks so much

welcome to our forum...it would help if you told us a bit more about your injuries.....1171 is our Calif expert so the more info you give him the more he can give you....

the duration of Permanent Disability payments is based on your permanent disability rating.
the greater the rating the longer the payments.
life pension payments are paid like the term implies: for life.
qualification for either depends on your permanent impairment rating.

permanent disability is not temporary disability and is not based on being out of work.
if you decline additional treatment your physician is likely to declare you permanent and stationary and rate your impairment.
