i'd be just guessing as to why settlement is now on her back burner.
maybe she wants more information on the consequences of the aggravation.
maybe another medical exam.
serious injuries involving large sums can be a lot of work especially during the holidays. maybe there are more approvals and paperwork needed before she has authority to negotiate.
