RE: Don't know what happened...WC & SSD

Morning all....Hubby is like a bull in the mud. He has a Dr.s appt. this morning and on the way back will stop in the SS office and then call his attorney when he gets home. He is so angry and knowing that attorney's return your call in a couple of days will take this to SS on his own at first and find out just why he is getting this mess on his lap now. I am thinking "was he entitled to backpay from SSD?WC paid him back to the day of the injury. Wouldn't that make it double dipping? Although I do believe Hubby rec'd something from SSD stating that his back pay did not go back to 6 months after the injury. I think they knocked more time than that off. Either way, I see no way that this is hubby's fault as he had an attorney involved. When he re'cd his back pay he called the attorney for 2 weeks to make sure they got paid and he didn't have to pay them out of the check he rec'd so I feel at that point his attorney should have told him to return the check that he wasn't entitled to it. Am I the crazy one here?

As I said Cap. with the Hardship Form and His Attorney's Help, he should be fine. I just Hope He doesn't say too much Today when He goes to the SS Office! I Know when I get Angry I sometimes say a whole lot more than I should, and usually end up putting my foot in my mouth!! That's why I always try and calm down at times like these! Best of Luck, and I Hope everything Goes Well!!Wink
